The Story Behind The Deck Cart
Dewayne Penna, the inventor of the The Deck Cart, is a DIY kind of guy. One day, he wanted to work on the deck of his riding lawn mower--it was the typical work that a mower deck needs every year or so. Blades need sharpening, the deck's underside needs cleaning, and debris clearing, and belts need tightening and replacing.
So, Dewayne dropped the deck to his mower, and while fighting to get his big bulky mower deck positioned to work on, he realized there needed to be a better way. Dewayne is a creative guy and a machine builder by trade, so he got to work on building a device that would help him do this work easily and safely.
After several designs and prototypes, and with several patents pending, Dewayne created the lawn mower The Deck Cart in 2022! The Deck Cart is a tool to help move and position a mower deck so it can be worked on safely and easily, and is also a handy storage rack for when your lawn tractor is doing other work.
